Chapter 10:

Hi readers, sorry it's been awhile since I've updated you on the family, but things have been pretty busy here in the household.
A lot of things have happened and some things are still the same.  Sadly, Deeta still insists that Boinky is real and just not in her
mind.  She keeps insisting that'll she prove it to us all too.

She's been working tirelessly on a potion to bring Boinky to life, we all just humor her with it... but we know that nothing is going
to happen, I keep hoping she'll outgrow this whole imaginary friend phrase.

Deter has been taking guitar lessons and is really becoming good, I knew that the arts were in his blood somewhere!  :D

When he's not practicing his guitar or painting, he's on the phone with Sheldon.  Must be those teen hormones, because Deter
has been up and down with mood swings lately.  Ugh!

Also, this time I'm glad to say that Petre is expecting... I'm hoping for another girl and he's hoping for another boy, we'll see
I guess.

The doctor told Petre that he's workout routine is too rough on pregancy and for him to take it easy, he finally got around to
painting my portrait to go next to his in the den.

We've had a few explosions around the house lately, but Deeta is determined to discover a potion to bring Boinky to life.
I've got to say she is very persistent.

Where has the time gone?  Can you believe that it's time for Deter to go to his prom?  I must say that I was quite the proud
parent looking at him standing there all handsome in his tux.

Sheldon picked up Deter in a very nice limo.

Prom night was a success, Deter was made Prom King, and Sheldon finally confessed his true feelings for Deter.  It was quite
a magical night for my little man.

The next morning, Deeta woke up the family to tell us that she discovered the potion and that she was going to show all of
us that Boinky was real.

I will admit that we all were a bit taken off guard when the beaker of potion began floating on it's own and even more alarmed
when all the purple smoke began flowing everywhere!

But the corker was when the smoke settled, there stood this cute little purple-haired boy! Deeta was right! Boinky is real! WOW  :o

Deter and Deeta had to rush off to school, Boinky couldn't get register today so he stayed home with Petre and me.  He's quite
an eater and loves tofu.

Petre took some quiet time for himself in the Super Sleeper Device upstairs.

Later that day we noticed that someone left the cage open, Rin is missing... so we decided to leave the cage open and hope he
comes home.  :(

Petre had been neglecting the garden during the pregancy and decided it was time to tend the garden.

Suddenly... a few pains when getting up and he realized, uh oh.  Petre's in labor!

Chapter 11:

We got to the hospital just in time, Petre gave birth to a beautiful young girl that we named, Peta...

... and a handsome little boy we named, Perrek.  So we both had a wish granted with twins!

And to make things better, sometime in the night Rin came home, when Deter noticed him he quickly shut the cage so it doesn't
happen again.

Poor Deter has been struggling in school lately, especially with his math homework... plus I don't think he helps when he has to
get help from his genius little sister.

Meanwhile, Boinky has really been enjoying life as a real boy... he's loves to play all day... little does he know, that he starts
school tommorrow.

This little boy never tires either, he's been on that thing since lunch time!?!?!  :o

The twins I've noticed don't have the same disposition as Deter and Deeta and are quite fussy, they're prooving to be a lot more
work than the other kids.

Perek is definitely the fussiest of all the babies, he's going to be our problem child I think.

The twins have really been a lot of work, this is the first time in 3 days that Petre and I have been able to share a bed for more
than an hour together.

The next morning I couldn't believe the phone call I got from Petre during my lunchbreak.  We had won a free 2 night vacation, but
we had to leave immediately.  I was afraid to leave the babies, but Deter volunteered to stay home with them and watch the other
kids too.

From what I've been told by Boinky, things started out great and Deter checked the mail and paid the bills...

... made sure that Deeta and him were both bathed, dressed, fed, and put on the school bus on time.

He wasn't sure of what happened when they were at school except for what he asked Deter, who said he
took the alone time to watch and babies and exercise.

Deter did great for breakfast, but not for lunch... I guess the kids were on their own and it was an ice cream dinner!

Boinky also said that Deter made them go to bed early, when I asked him what early was he said 9:00, I told him that
was his normal bedtime and he just shrugged his shoulders.

Ironically, the nights we were gone the twins apparently slept through the whole night... figures, huh?

According to Deeta the second night is where things went downhill...  after putting them to bed even earlier, she thinks
around 7:00 Deter went into the pool house made himself a drink.  She said that she's pretty sure he didn't know that all
the drinks in there are all non-alcoholic because he acted like he thought he was buzzed.

She then snooped around some more and watched him go into the den and watched the fish a bit before...

... chatting to friends online, he went for another swim, then exercised for a bit, and he got a phone call...

... Deeta didn't know who it was but she knew that they talked Deter into throwing a party and ordering pizza.

When the pizza showed up, so did some other teens, Deeta said her and Boinky "bartered" staying up and eating
pizza or they would tell.  So they stayed downstairs at the patio area and ate alone while the teens partied upstairs.

Neither Deeta or Boinky knew the other two kids names, the only teen they knew of course was Sheldon.

Deeta couldn't hear what was going on, but she said that Boinky and her could see through the windows and it looked
like a normal party... loud music and dancing.

She also said that things got a bit "flirty" between Deter and Sheldon, but nothing too bad.  That was all I needed to hear
from my two little tattle tails, who by the way did get grounded for their "bartering" talents and not calling to tell us what
was happening.

The reason I didn't need to hear anymore was because that's the part of the night when Petre and I arrived home from
our vacation.  I knew something was wrong when I heard the stereo thumping when we were still in the taxi...

Petre knew when he saw the mess in the kitchen and the pizza boxes across the counters...

... plus when he was almost knocked down by a scattering of teens screaming, "Parents! Run!"

Needless to say, Deter was less than pleased when he discovered that not only was he caught, he was also grounded.

Thanks, Esther1981...
Deter is a cutie and he makes some funny faces too.  The more I look at Deeta the more anxious I get to see her grow up too, because I think she's going to make a beautiful sim like her brother.  Now the twins will be interesting since they were "carried" by Petre instead of Derrick, I'm thinking that they'll look a bit different than their older siblings.

Thanks ILoveDolls...
Lunar Lakes overall is pretty bight and boldly colored on a lot of the lots so I wanted to kind of match that look/style in the Hopefuls house too.  I'm glad you like it, I've had a lot of fun building it.  Although it can get a bit maze-like at times and I occassionally loose a sim here and there at times.

Thanks xFezIsAFreakx...
I wish I could play with all settings maxed out, but my computer can't handle it and the game gets all sluggish.  It's a good mixture of both high and medium settings.  I love that last picture too, what a faceto make, huh? LOL

Hey everyone...
I just wanted to apologize for neglecting this thread for such a long time, but a lot has happened in real life that has kept me away from spending the proper time that I need to give this legacy the attention that it needed.  But I come with good news, look for an update to this thread/legacy this week and I plan to run a few others that are quite unique and different simultaneously while playing this legacy.  I've switched to working overnights now and will have plenty of simming time on my days off.  ;)

Hope you all are still willing and wanting to read about what the future holds for the Hopeful Family, especially come this November after the release of the "Seasons" EP which will bring real simlife aliens to Lunar Lakes.  Teehee ;D

Chapter 12:

Hey everyone, first things I want to say that I'm sorry for such a long time between updates but you know how a new baby can
take up most of your free time...

...especially when you have two new babies to take care.  Even if there are two of you to share the baby time with.  ;)

The next day after Deter's grounding, things went back to normal pretty quickly and the kids were off to school.  Boinky and Deeta took the
bus as usual, but Deter decided to try something new.

He used our new "Not So Routine Machine" to teleport to school, I'm not too sure how much he liked it or plans on using it again.

Petre went back to tending his garden, he's been a bit distracted about today since it's his birthday and he's about to become an elder.  He's
afraid that he's getting too old for me and the family, but I've reassured him that he's just perfect for me and the kids.

Things have been so hectic that we didn't even realize the age up for both Peta...

...and her twin brother, Perrek.  :o

After a quick makeover in CAS, Peta is just cute as a button!

So his Perrek and his imaginary friend doll. (Here we go again!  ???)

Petre spent most of his free time that afternoon keeping his "pre" elder pecs in tip top shape.

While I helped the twins explore their home better now that they are toddlers.

Before we knew it, school was over, and the kids were on their way home for a family birthday party.

Here's the moment that Petre has been dreading all week...

Petre exclaimed "I'm old!"

Now it's my turn...

Oh yeah, I'm still cute...  8)

We maybe older, but we're still crazy for each other...

And then it was time for both Deeta...

...and Boinky to age up as well.

Thanks for all the kind words again, everyone!  ;D
Don't worry Deter's birthday isn't far away and the twin's next ones aren't either, since I have the baby/toddler phases shrunk down really far in the age span settings.  I had forgot that Petre was an Adult and not a Young Adult like Derrick, it was sad to watch him loose his "hot bod".  :'(

I love Lunar Lakes too and it's even better now that someone created matching portal rabbitholes for all the EPs up to "Supernatural" it really helps things stay current/matching there.  ;)
