Basically, what happened was my entire household went to china and basically..... The mood meter was blue. Two things
1. This is my dynasty
2. I don't have any backups, was thinking to make one tomorrow/

Was this when they came back or when they arrived in China?

If the latter, and you exited without saving, just start up your game again, but decide not to go to China. In any case, if you exited without saving, you could try your game again.

Adnaan, use the game's automatic backup if you have saved since. If you haven't, then do what MarianT suggested.

And so long as you save before you travel and take appropriate measures (to avoid known bugs, like avoiding Sekhmet Hawas in Egypt, or avoiding the Hot Springs in China), you should be safe.

I don't understand the exact problem.  The mood meter was blue?  What does that mean?

I've definitely never heard of a blue mood meter (would love to see a screenshot).  But the missing Sims is probably one of the traveling bugs.  There are no known solutions to the travel bugs and you mostly just have to rely on previous saves.  If you didn't save while in China, you could exit the game without saving and then pick it back up before the trip.  You really should get into the habit of backing up your game file.  It's as simple as using "Save As" and giving the file a different name.  For example, my DecaDynasty files are like this:

Dreamweaver Townie DecaDynasty 1.1
Dreamweaver Townie DecaDynasty 1.2
Dreamweaver Townie DecaDynasty 1.3
Dreamweaver Townie DecaDynasty 1.4

And so on.  After awhile, I'll start using the names again or deleting the oldest of the files to free up some room on my computer and in my game.

That blue Mood Meter is definitely odd.  I don't know if it's part of the traveling bug, though.  Where and when was this taken?

I had that happen several times when I tried to go to China. But I exited without saving and was able to continue with my game, staying away from China. It was a challenge file, the trophy one. But AdnaanA, it's possible that you have a serious enough bug in your file that it would be better to start your Immortal Dynasty over.

Okay,but I have worked so hard to where i am now, currently. But would the bugs happen if i went to france

I went to Egypt afterwards without any trouble. You might try going back to your game, do a "save as," then delete the previous game. And do another "save as" before sending your sims to France.

Marian you are probably right, so I made a new plan.... The Cruise's are going to Egypt!
