You can use your own patterns, but as a stamp, not as a pattern.
So you would add a new sticker, then when the panel comes up select the location where your pattern image file is. That will put your pattern down with the other stickers where you can select it.

Maybe it is time for someone to write a guide on this. But don't look at me! I will have my hands full on the CAW, which I don't have to do alone thank goodness.
Maybe NancyJ will like this. She is very creative on fingernails patterns for sims I know.

Please explain stickers to me.   What are they, how to use them and can you import images already on your pc to the CAP to use as a sticker and can that sticker then become something like wallpaper or other patterns?
What?  Grannies can't play games?

I wouldn't mind doing some sort of guide on this. I've dabbled with it and have a basic knowledge that can only improve if I work with it a bit more. I can start with a simple how to project and improve on that.

In case anyone missed Carl's announcement, Norma did indeed write a lovely guide for the Create A Pattern Tool.  Click here to view.

Thank you, Norma!  It's an awesome guide.  :D

All the tutorials are good.  However, this is the absolutely BEST tutorial yet.  It is clear, concise, gives enough examples and pictures so even someone as technologically challenged as myself will be able to use this tool now.  Thanks so much Twinmum for an excellent job well done!
