Athletic Skill unable to advance

There was this opportunity that I should raise my sim's athletic skill by 1 but I'm unable to. The blue bar isn't going up! He's level 6 now. I have all the EP except for Pets.

How long has he been on level 6.. how many Sim days? Is it not moving at all, maybe it's just going very slow. How much time is he spending on athletic activities each day?

5 days lately... it is really not moving  ... He works out until he's fatigued. I bought the fast learner lifetime reward plus he is Athletic. I'd put him in a class twice already. Any help?

You put him in a class twice? Are you sure? Sims can only do a class once.

Did you try a reset?
Press Ctrl+Shift+C and then type "resetsim firstname lastname" (without quotations and replacing firstname lastname with the name of the Sim). So to reset Simmy McSimmer, you'd type "resetsim Simmy McSimmer". It returns them to their home lot with all moods reset, and sometimes, no moodlets. Nothing else is lost.

And did you try exiting and restarting the game?
