There are a number of lovely little houses in Sims 2. I've decided to do a series of re-creations of some of them for Sims 3.

This is the original version.

The updated version.

Floor plan.

Back of the house.

Please note that all my builds are thoroughly inspected to ensure everything is in working order and that nothing gets in the way of your enjoyment once you move in. Any problems that we have been unable to resolve, will be documented in the properties description. If however you find something that has somehow slipped by the scrutiny of the building inspector and is not listed in the property specs, please advise me and I will look at resolving the matter ASAP.

What a great idea!  I can't wait to see the rest of the series when you get them finished.

I thought I'd start with the houses in the library, then do some of the ones that are in the different towns. I have a few folders of screnshots ready to do. There really are some bovely little houses.

arghh, just realized that I didn't change the colour of the roof lol Oh well. I might fix it up later when I get back to that computer (kids  ::) )

This looks great!

I have a few Sims and Sims 2 house remakes that I plan to upload later on. I like the idea of posting a picture of the original house for comparison. Nice touch. :)

Please build some of the Pleasantview houses! Sorry if I'm too off topic, but I'm thinking about recreating Pleasantview in CAW, (populated and all!) and I think it would be cool to recreate the houses, and modify them to look more TS3 like, (example: decorating the Pleasant Twins' room using KPST).

I should get back to these buildings. Just lately though, I've been super busy with my miniature group and some exhibits. Once they are all over with, I'll probably be hanging out to spend some time simming, so I might have a go then.

Twinmum, I admire your eye for detail. I was looking for small differences between the sims 2 and 3 version but failed finding any.
Maybe you one day like to redo sims 1 houses as well? I think the household was called Newbies which most of us might still remember.
There used to be a guy on YouTube who has rebuild the whole sims 1 vanilla town in The Sims 3. I got the feeling you can do that too.

ha Leto, when I was building this one (I think) I actually installed Sims 1 on my laptop along with Sims 2 with the intention of looking at some of the houses.
