Saved games won't load and I can't create a new game

My Sims 3 Late Night game saves wont load and I can't create a new save. I open up the Sims, and it works fine but as soon as I click to either create a new game or play a previously saved game, it takes forever to load. Yesterday, I tried creating a new save on a new world that I had recently downloaded, and it took one and a half hours to get to the end of the loading bar. But, when it eventually reached the end, it froze and I had to force close it. I thought that it could have been the new world that was doing it, so I tried to make a save on a different world, but did the same thing. Also, a while before this, I accidentally deleted all of my CC from the Sims 3 launcher, so I don't know if that was what could of done it, or how to get the CC back (if there is a way you can get it back)Any advice would be greatly appriciated, because I have no idea. (And I don't know much about computers, so please try to keep the answers simple if you can  )

You could try a Factory Reset
Deleting caches, turning graphics down, etc~

Does your computer meet minimum requirements to run the game? How many expansions do you have? ~ The more you have the slower the game.

My computer does meet the requirements, and I have one expansion pack, Late Night. The last time I went on The Sims was January, and it was working fine then. It's only now that it's loading really slow

Well it does take a while load a game since there's so many possibilities, just wait and it will start eventually. Mine takes about 7minutes to load 


Edit: Also, have you got the latest version of Direct X? You need it for late night.

But the thing is, it was working fine in January, and I haven't done anything to change the game since then. It only used to take about 7 minutes as well. I might just do a factory reset, because I deleted all of my CC be accident anyway, and I don't mind losing my saves, I just don't know what else to do.

EDIT: I don't know about Direct X, I will check
