What's the hardest skill to max out?

Not really hard to max out, just annoying in my opinion, is charisma. Since you have to have X friends to advance

I would say charisma is the most irritating because of the friend aspect. In my opinion they are all pretty easy to max but if you are doing the skill challenges then that adds a whole new dimension to it.

To supermax - Guitar, that guitar star challenge is enough to drive you insane!
To max - I haven't a clue because I only play without cheats in my dynasty file and I'm not far enough into it to begin comparing skills, but I actually find Charisma easy if your sim has time to socialise. It's one of my favourite skills. I don't know very much about each and every skill but I think they're all pretty easy to max.

Ooooh yes! Photography is an annoying one! I'm trying to max that one in both my legacy and later in my dynasty. I love the skill, but it takes ages!

I find charisma to be easy, except for the jokes part. My sim has 102 aquaintnaces and 92 friends. She's maxed everything, but the jokes part, because she's too busy to joke around (lol).
If your sim is good at guitar, or singing, they get the first part of charisma easily. Then they throw a party and their aquaintances become friends. Then they throw more parties and the friends become best friends. Simple!

Photography has always been quick for me.  We're talking maxing a skill, not SuperMaxing it for a Dynasty challenge.  Just take a bunch of pictures and you'll be at level 10 in no time!

Charisma is a staple for me.  I love how someone becomes a best friend right after introduction when my Sims get to the upper levels.

Pam's right about charisma. Once you get the number of aquaintances part, all you have to do is walk by someone or have them think of you and your friends.

I found Charisma to be really easy to max out if you have Ambitions.  If you join the ghost hunter occupation, you can easily max it by becoming best friends with large ghosts.  The ghosts that appear at the harder levels of the career, have interactions that boost LTR all the way to best friend in as little as 5 interactions.

I thought the most annoying was the bartending skill--too tedious in my opinion.

Yes, exactly.  I haven't played Late Night in some time.  The names of the skills are starting to escape me

Personally I find inventing to be the most difficult, but now that I've learned to keep a shower or other source of water around when my sim inevitably lights their rear on fire, maybe I'll become less frustrated with it.

I used to find charisma to be a real pain since I can't be bothered with maintaining friendships (much less making them), but I agree that once the 25 acquaintance challenge is completed, it progresses fairly quickly.
