I'm currently reinstalling The Sims 2, along with every expansion. I just finished installing University, which was on top of Sims 3 Deluxe, and I'm enjoying just digging around and building community lots. :)

Social bunnies got on my nerves. Like clowns at a circus. However, I did love University. Those were the days! You could invite your family to visit and see mom, dad and the sibs. University was great!

University was great. There is one thing I don't miss though. When you have Sims 2 Deluxe and University installed at the same time, you can't play the game, you need another expansion. This is because Nightlife comes after Uni, but Sims 2 is before it, so the game is constantly confused as to which disk you need.  ::)

I don't know if this is the right thread or if I should make a new one in the Babble Board.
In Sims 2, Vita Alto's grave is supposedly in a basement in Pleasantview. Does anyone know what house it's in?

She was in nightlife. If your sim flirt with someone, she hit him with her handbag lol!

One of the options was to charm her. Then she get you with the bag. And when sims put on swimwear she lecture them!

I don't remember any house with a basement.

For me, digital is not convienient. My internet is spotty at best, I have no way to get them other than Paypal, which I don't wish to get because my friend's keeps getting hacked, and I happen to like my disks, thank you very much. Faster, simpler, no need to worry about the 'net, and I get to have a nice disk collection.

There was one house with a basement, the one with the ghosts of those creepy Tricou kids.  The basement was really far below ground and there was a coffin at the bottom.  I never really played around with that, though, so I can't speak as to the presence or absence of an urn.  I'm thinking the house was in the default downtown?

Wow, I played those games for years and I still don't remember a basement or that name.  I have it installed, so might check it out.  You couldn't even make a basement in Sims2. :)

Actually, you could make a basement. They were made the hard way with the foundation tool.

I miss when toddlers had a little mat to sleep on. I'm a little bummed a toddler couldn't just sleep in the pet bed like a mattress. I miss the little playpen from Apartment Life as well.

I miss sewing as a skill too.
