Aspiration failures! I loved those! They were funny! My favorite was when a sim would dance with a mop (Romance aspiration, right?)!

Not sure if anyone else said this - or if it's in Sims 3 and I missed it somehow - but I miss all the cute proposals you could do with one of the expansion packs for Sims 2! I loved taking my couples out to a favorite restaurant and having a surprise ring in the food...the animations were so cute! Overall, I'm muchly satisfied with Sims 3 over any of the predecessors.

Lol Kirby! Do you remember how a fortune sim when he go all oin the red will pull out a tin mug and beg? That was so funny.  ;D

MEMORIES! I also remember the Wan-O'Mackey saga. Patricia Wan and Gabe O'Mackey. Patricia's turn on's were glasses, facial hair, and all the obvious signs..lol.  :)

The social bunny was awesome. Anyone remember when the Grim Reaper was so detailed in appearance? Also, anyone remember the baby grill?

The social bunny was awesome. Plus, I love this video. Anyone remember when the Grim Reaper was so detailed in appearance? Also, anyone remember the baby grill?

Now, that was just creepy!!

Gabe's daughter dated Jacob Martin. Ugh I hate Sandra Roth with a purple passion, so I break them up and him and Jules back together.

The grim has always been funny, but I wish his TS3 version wasn't so lacking. I loved the Grilled Cheese aspiration.

I don't miss the bunny. I think the IF replaces the bunny in sims 3. They are both annoying.

I see a lot of people talking about the loading screens and I just don't find them that annoying.  Between TS2 and TS3 the entire game loads faster for me and I find that if I leave the lot in TS2 it doesn't take a much different time period than for a Sim just to get from place to place in TS3. I know it takes a lot less time than for a Sim to get from place to place in TSM.

I also have a question. We now have the babble board, this thread, a thread about other games and interests. Can we have a thread for TS2 questions or can you ask them here in this one?

At the time, the loading screens were a hassle because I was either playing a) on a laptop or b) on a slower computer.  For TS3, I've updated my machine and I'm sure Sims 2 would zip right along now.

I'd ask Pam about that, Amok.

Sometimes when I type with code inserted like that, I'll type over a portion of it, usually the end, and wind up with whole paragraphs underlined or in italics.   :P

Those are my favorite occults in TS2/TS3! I, a 22 year old female, still lights up like a little kid when I see the social bunny.

Gosh the SB was adorable. I loved his hugs, I imagined that I was the sim being hugged by the SB all the time.

I would literally lock my sims several rooms of the house and await the bunny, haha.  :)
