Just went into Varonaville to look at houses to build. I had forgotten that all the houses there are Tudor style... looks so nice.

I miss how the EP's were priced!
When I bought TS1 EP's, they cost me under $13. I even went to a game store today and saw them for sale (no discounts) for $5! Now, a SP for TS3 costs me nearly $50!

Do you guys remember how a ghost could scare your sim literally to death? I was so afraid to play the Goth house lol! And that ghosts get angry when you sell their bed!

Oh, yes, I remember reading legacy stories with entire attics and basements full of beds and random junk the ghosts liked.  I would always hurry to get my sims in bed before the ghosts appeared since (most) ghosts didn't use the stairs.

I miss Makin' Magic. I loved that expansion. I might try reisntalling my The Sims complete colletion sometime and playing it again. I disliked a lot of The Sims 2, I love how our faces are realistic now.

Oh, I miss the smustle!  I loved it.  I loved how they all got in sync with one another, until someone made a mistake and turned in the wrong direction.  Unlike so many other repeated actions that are annoying, that was always hilarious!

I totally agree with you, it was hilarious. I never got fed up of watching that.

Really? I love the silly cartoon-y look. I mean, they're Sims, not real people.

The smustle watching them get out of sync is always funny!

I've been playing since the originals - I actually reinstalled all the TS1 series the other week because I miss the simplicity of it.  TS2 was my all-time favourite series - the Seasons pack was my favourite.  I had Apartment Life but it never worked on my computer, then when I upgraded I misplaced the disk.  Must search it out and reinstall the series again.

I have an idea where it is - think that will be my after work job for tomorrow!

I bought TS3 Showtime yesterday - only had about an hour on it - not sure about it yet.

Good!

And I've recently got Showtime as well. Its not really my cup of tea to be honest, but it is a nice expansion. I tend to play it for the objects other than the new careers and stuff! :)

Me too!  I am more of a designer than a player - I've never played a Sim from baby through to elder, I just get bored and end up fast forwarding through it all!  I love building and designing though, but don't get enough time to do it. I'm going to try playing from young adult to elder and see how I get on - currently on day 2 and not bored yet!!

Same, I love to build. But I'm such a perfectionist I never feel my houses are really finished. If one little thing is annoying and I can't fix it, I have to delete the full house.

I've actually only just recently played a Sim from birth til death, I was quite proud of myself. I usually get bored after I reach level 10 in my career!

I wish you luck though!
