I shop from Amazon all the time and I don't have problems. The memories are SO annoying! Fair enough teaching your kid to walk, but like every single thing they do. "so and so just had a mood swing" "so and so just went to the shops" "so and so just harvested a plant"

Haha, I was actually thinking about making a thread like this the other day!

On TS2, I didn't play it but I've heard a lot about it that I wish TS3 had. Especially things like all the baby options, aliens, and seasons!
If at first you don't succeed, call it version 1.0.

I remember vague memories of The Sims 2... I remember making an outdoor arcade and an observatory roof (Like 100 telescopes) when I was eight... I think I was still a pretty good builder back then! :P

Also, feel free to request a home by PMing me! Always happy to help.

Hey guys I'm taking an extended hiatus... again. I'm out of ideas to build houses and I don't have as much fun designing homes like I used to; it feels more like a chore. So that's where I'll be, I will probably be back sometime. :P

Does anyone remember the Cinematics for WooHoo's, Weddings, Proposals and things like that? Well there was a University one that made me laugh, where the naked Sim ran by. Oh such humor!

I miss the Open for Business things. I loved that my Sims could open an art gallery with all their paintings and sell them to the public. That was probably my favourite EP.
For those people missing the mp3 player, you do know there is a personal music player available now don't you?

I've been debating for the last few weeks whether to install the Sims 2. My sister lent me her copy but I can't work out if I'll get frustrated with it as my main memories of Sims 2 are really long load times and pregnant sims being impossible to keep in a good mood. Then again I played it for a few hours about four years ago, so it's not like I ever had chance to like it. After reading this thread, maybe I will install it!

It is a little more restricted than TS3, which is why I don't think I'd ever be able to go back. But the features are fabulous! You could always uninstall!

I think it was added in Showtime. I know I've only just started using it. Just closed my game, so I can't check which EP it's part of.

That reminds me of a glitch I never encountered (I've never had Cinematics enabled until quite recently) - if Mortimer Goth dies and you send Alexander Goth to college, the Cinematic that you see has Bella Goth waving to her son in it. Proof she's alive and not abducted by aliens. :P

I miss the oxygen bars in The Sims 1, it was so cool to be able to light a house on fire in one big fireball. They would catch on fire if there was open flame. So if you shot the fireworks it would start one fire then they would catch on fire. I do miss the old fame system even though I never got very high lol. I wish the taxi system was still in place where you could ask a taxi to pick you up and you would pay different prices for wherever you wanted to go. I miss studio town and magic town most of all.

LOL, when I was 5, I would buy a bunch of fireworks and set em' all off in a mansion. Then watch everything and everyone go down in flames. I was too young to know anybetter, lol. And, I also discovered this video:

Haha I was 16 i believe when I first heard of The Sims 1. I've killed sims in all of the games.

I miss the Ep's for the original sims! Magic, Superstars, they were great! I played it constantly, but since I was only a kid, I didn't I get into it that much... I wish I did though, maybe I might start playing The Sims 1again someday.

As for Sims 2, I miss the EP's there as well! Open for Business was amazing, I agree Twinmum, and University and Seasons were my favorites. But I could never play The Sims 2 again, I don't think. It's too similar to The Sims 3 for me.
