I miss the terminators, and the viruses.

I did not miss the WooHoo or Wedding cutscene. A bit embarrassing. Plus, I missed Grim's appearance, along with the hula zombies.  ;D

I forgot about the MP3 player!  Man, that thing was handy.  Got an hour to kill?  Pull out that MP3 player and raise your sim's fun while they wait.  Of course, you also had to buy a cell phone!   :P

CSquared2 - Oh I miss aliens so much! Even though I prefer my game to be realistic, I loved to play aliens. When males got pregnant :').

Also, I totally miss Strangetown and Olive and Othelia or something. They had graves in their garden and they used to make water go EVERYWHERE!

I would stay up until 3 am at 7 years old, making my sims look through the telescope in hopes for an alien baby.

The Hula girls! One of them was Bella Goth, I remember so much now! I don't like that kids have Cell Phones, its much more realistic if they purchase them!

And me too, KirbyAndKat, when the men gave birth the cut scene was so different, it did like a weird turn around the mans plumbob!

I really miss the whole scenerio thing.  Girl meets boy, boy asks girl out on date, go on date, slow dancing.  Then I would always build a wedding chapel, with the champagne and cake and all of the trimmings.  Boy and girl get married, eat cake, drink champagne, slow dance.  I was really into the whole start to finish thing.  In fact, I just bought lost sims2 games and installed the ones I had.  I have been playing sims2 more lately.  Also, it seemed like there were so many people at downtown buildings.  I so enjoy the weather again, my favorite. :)

Oh I remember Downtown, that was one of my favorite spots. Wasn't it always dark or something, but you could change it to light!

I miss weather as well, I also miss bakerys and hair dressers. I used to  do them up perfectly. I loved the whole Open For Business thing - the way businesses advanced and everything! :(

I know the one profession I enjoyed the most and made alot of money at, was the pottery.  After getting all of the points, I would build a small shop on the side of the house and lock the doors, except to the shop.  That place would fill up and my sim could not keep up with the pottery.  She ended up rich in her own right.  Restaurants were pretty cool too.

I love that summary. Now with Sims 3, it's just like, become engaged in 10 minutes of Sim playing time. You know, unrealistic.

I need to buy a new external hardrive for my old Sims 2 games. Does Best Buy still sell Sims 2 games? Also the base game, cause I sold mine long ago.

Saltypaws - I used to do that as well, create a little shop on the side of the house!

I still have all my games, I wish my laptop could hold them!

Yes, Amazon does still sell all of them.  In fact, I had to buy the base game and two of the expansion packs from there.  Funny, they have not gone down too much in price.  Only one I dont have is vacation.  I might get that one day, but I have all of the rest of them installed.

I might go on Amazon and purchase all of Sims 1, I don't have those. I only had Sims 1 for PS2, I loved it!

I tried playing sims1 again and just couldn't do it, lol.  Reminded me of a very bad cartoon.  I just couldn't play it.  I had two sets of sims1, mine and my mothers, gave one to my granddaughter and can't remember what happened to the other set, but I don't think I want to play it again. :)

I miss some of the EP's, especially University. I played that for a little bit a few days ago, and loved it. I also kind of miss the lack of Story Progression. I liked not needing to monitor if my other Sims had moved out, etc etc etc. From TS1, one of the things I will not miss will be the cheats. I remember having to type "kaching;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!" to get $10,000. And the Motive Maxing cheat was the worst. You had to delete your Sim with MOO, then click on their sim-panel portrait, which would bring them back. But you had to save first or stuff like Skill Points gained would be lost.
I miss the memories. I know TS3 has Memories, but they're not like the TS2 memories. In TS3 you get memories for stuff like going to the park. In TS2, you got memories for Very First WooHoo, First Kiss, Marriage, Maxing Skills...

The Sims 3 memories are annoying and unrealistic. It's like, they celebrate when you go shopping. >_>

Also, is Amazon reliable? And how long is it to install the Sims 2 base game?
