Save File Recovery~ Any hope?

   Well my Laptop crashed while I was playing and now the file is corrupted.  When I try opening my file it tells me to try restarting, which I followed to no avail, so I followed the instructions in this forum and the backup doesn't work either.  The game doesn't register that it's even there.  I have Windows 7 64bit and no mods.  In the Backup folder there is 4 files, none with extension .bad.   Any idea on what I could try doing?

I've never encountered that problem. So I'm not really sure what to tell you. Maybe someone else here can advise you?

Do you have any previous saves besides the one the game makes?
