Twallan's Porter Keeps Locking Up

I'm trying to pack my neighborhood with the potter so I can move them to a new town, but when it starts the processing, the game always lock up after about five minutes. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Well, i got them all packed, but now the game just freezes automatically when I try unpacking them. I checked the FAQ, but it didn't mention anything like that.

Do not attempt to export your entire town in a single family.
The game will run out of memory attempting to create the file and either hang indefinitely or crash to the desktop.
There is no way to gauge how many sims your machine can export without testing it yourself. It is dependent on how much free memory you have once the save game has loaded, and how large the data packets are for each sim being exported.

You should really post your questions at the Wiki. There are lots of people there that use his mods, so even if Twallan isn't there, somebody else might be able to help you.
I've never used Porter, but there are many people at the Wiki who have.

I agree with NomaMena. Specific issues for the mods should be addressed to NRaas. This site just recently allowed talk about mods.
