Tudor style wall coverings?
« on: April 18, 2012, 11:34:44 PM »
Not sure if I'm just not looking hard enough or there isn't any there, but I can't seem to find a wall covering to do the upper level of a Tudor style house. You know the sort.. white with black lines up and down and occasionally diagonally. I'm having fun re-creating a few houses from Sims 2 and I'm trying to keep them as close as possible to the original. Any suggestions on where I should be looking.

In panelling there are quite a few that you can use - you just need to recolour them. I find the rough texture under masonry good for the walls, and you can use a really dark wood colour for the wood bits. Alternatively, you could find a house on the exchange or somewhere that already has tudor walls recoloured, and use those.

lol, I was showing one of the kids and realized how much like a barn wall it was. Have to go into the game and have another look. I must have just been having one of those dumb moments where if it wasn't exactly what I wanted, then it wasn't there.
