Create a World

Dear all,
When using Create a World tool, how should I add skills for the Sims?  How to make relationships for them?

I believe you have to use a Mod for that. Anushka will know which ones you need to use as she used them to add Sims, Skills and Relationships to Union Cove. As a guess I would say it will be one of the major Mods such as Twallan's MasterController or StoryProgression. Not sure though so maybe best to wait for someone who has done it. Welcome to the forum by the way.  :)

First up, you know how to add Sims to CAW, right? Because it can't be done without Mods.

Secondly, welcome to the forum. :)

Thirdly, you use MasterController, plus Cheats. Please remember that these Mods work for 1.33 only, but twallan is kind enough to provide links to older Mods for earlier Patch Levels.

Edit: Sorry, but I just realized - these Mods may not work in CAW's Edit in Game mode.

They do work:) If you already have Sims in world, go to Edit Town in EiG and select a family - use switch active household button. Once you're in a live mode click on a Sim, and open the options window NRaas/MasterControl/Advanced/SetSkill. To add relationships - parent/child/sibling - use NRaas/MasterControl/Household/Add Family Member (or something like that). If you activate Testingcheatsenabled true you can drag the relationship bar between Sims in Relationship Panel. If you want more specific relationships like ex girlfriend, grandson and aunt - create them in game and use Porter to import the family with already set/developed relationships.

How can I add a bridge?  Bridges surely look great and help decorating a bit.

Bridges are found in the same tab as trees and other objects (Metadata?) just search Bridge and you'll find them. Then you position them so they look right and join up roads to each end like you do to an intersection.

I have base game and downloaded Riverview, but when I open Riverview in CAW, it only shows roads but no bridges.  I wonder how they are placed.  By the way, do I need any expansion packs?

I don't know anything about CAW, but the bridges in Riverview aren't bridges like the ones in, say, Twinbrook. If you open a game file in Riverview and play with the in-game world editor, you'll see the "bridges" are actually raised roads with decorative dam-like walls placed on either side.

They are really hard to find, I'm still searching for them but I think if you search Wall, River or Sea. They turn up. Can't guarantee that though as CAW doesn't show which content is which EP and I have all of the EPs.
