Missing building

I seem to have lost my Laundromat.  I was trying to do some organizing in Edit Town and somehow lost it.  It's not in the list of buildings that can be added.  How can I add it back to my game so that I can place it in the town?  Help, town is getting very stinky with everyone wearing dirty clothes!!!

I should add that I am new to Sims 3 and new to this site-which is awesome-thanks for all your effort!

About your problem, if it's not in the list, you must then start a new game, go to Edit Town mode, select the new Laundromat, you'll see the save button, save it and it's on the list now, then you can add it anytime in any town now. Go back to your world, and simply add it back. Good luck and happy simming.

Could you have hidden the building by mistake? When you click on a building in the list to view it there is a button to hide it so it don't show on the list. I often do this when added buildings to a town to know what I haven't added yet.
To the left of the building list pictures is a button to show hidden buildings. If there is something hidden the button will the dark blue and active and clicking it will let the building show up on the list again. It might be worth checking.

Thanks, grimsoul, I had noticed that button, but clicking on it didn't change anything.

Yarakisagoa, thank you as well.  I tried what you suggested.  Starting a new game, Sunset Valley had all the buildings from Ambitions except the Laundromat.  Twinbrook had a Laundromat which I copied to the building list.  Oddly, I can't find a Laundromat in Bridgeport but the other 4 buildings from Ambitions are scattered around the city.   I just went and checked and none of my other Saved Games have a Laundromat either which seems very odd-it's disappeared from my game completely.  I guess I'll add the Twinbrook Laundromat to my Sunset Valley town, but since it doesn't load with the other buildings, any time I start a new town I'll have to remember to add it.  Any suggestions for a fix?
