Chess Opponent will not show?

Has anyone else had this issue?  I have a sim that wants to be a Chess Legend.  I have invited one ranked player over to the house and played chess and won.  I have been calling the second opponent will never shows up.  My sim is a lvl 10 in logic.  Any ideas on how I can get this opponent over to play?

It seems to be very common these days.  I noticed that when I invited a Sim to play at the park they almost always showed unless they were a papparazzi.  Or you could try traveling if you have World Adventures as that seemed to help some dynasty players.

Do you know who your next opponent is?  I had this problem when my next opponent was the person who worked at the Consignment Store.  One day I sat and watched for her to leave work, then paused the game and had my Sim call right as the clerk walked out the door.  That worked!
