Doesn't recognize disc(Help Please)

So, I just got World Adventure, installed it, and tried to play. But every time I press the big blue play button, it says "No game disc found, please insert Sims3 Pets before proceeding." I tried putting in Sims3 Pets, but it wanted to uninstall it, which I don't want. I've also tried different sims games, and restarting my computer. Anyone have any idea what's going on and how to fix it?

The game should play with the disk for the most recently released expansion or stuff pack that is installed.  So, even though you just installed World Adventures, it still needs the most recently released disk to play.  This is the order of release:

1.  Sims 3 Base Game
2.  World Adventures EP
3.  High End Loft SP
4.  Ambitions EP
5.  Fast Lane SP
6.  Late Night EP
7.  Outdoor Living SP
8.  Generations EP
9.  Town Life SP
10. Pets EP
11. Master Suite SP
12. Showtime EP

Hi Claire, welcome to the forum! Some people have a problem with the pets disc where it want to uninstall when you put the disc in. Just say no and click on the play button.

Hi Claire, I had this problem with TSM. Sometimes a full uninstall/reinstall will work, but other times, just do what loveSims suggested. It's an annoyance for sure, but based on some of the bugs I've experienced or heard of - it's only minor.

Thanks everyone! I found out what Pam said almost instantly after I asked... So I feel really stupid now. Thanks anyway!
