Police - Can't Interview

Has anybody eles had this problem?

My sim can't interview people, which means she can't write reports?

If you can't question people, try some trash can rummaging.  Usually when you're done it will say you got enough to make a report.

I can't do that as well. nothing comes up.

My sim cannot interview anybody, best friend or family. The option just doesn't show. I have no mods or CC and I can't look through people's mails or bins. I don't think it's a bug because i tried this on 2 more games and it's done the same. Maybe something happened with a patch ages ago?

What level is your Sim's career?  Is Writing Reports one of the things shown on the employment tab for his requirements?  Does Interview show up and grayed out?  Or is it completely missing?

Yes, reports is one of the requirements. The interview option doesn't show. and when I click on the bin/mail no options show up.

And have you installed Showtime? The last one I'm asking because I haven't heard of this problem before the arrive of this expansion so it could be some connection between the two that is not smoothly working.

I've removed my previous message becausedue to some bug my phone didn't finish my post so it came through only half.
I've adviced you it could help if your Sim has been introduced to the Sim you want to interview as some functions are prevent until the moment your Sim has introduced him or herself, but I now don't think this will solve anything in this situation.

Hm, okey. But you are fully patched now? No mods, no other third party content and all that that could prevent from the game running smoothly?
I have to ask again (): do you have Showtime?

Yes I have showtime, and I have no mods or CC.
