Gardening Question: Can Tofu be planted?

I had my sim person go to the store the other day to grab the new plants that are available and saw they had tofu. I grabbed some in hopes that it could be planted in the garden. But when I went to have her plant the tofu, it only gave me an option to give as gift. So that led me to question if it can be planted?

No, tofu isn't one of the new plantable items.
