No interactions for adopted unicorn?

So, I FINALLY was able to adopt my unicorn (2 whole weeks after the first sighting!!) And I bring her home noticing I only have 8 days before she turns into an elder (GAH!)

So, I take my male horse and try to click on her and nothin! I can click on the other horses with him, but not the unicorn. I switch to the unicorn, and have the same issue! I can't click on anything! Not even the jumps. I can click on the stalls, water troughs, things like that, but I can't bless or curse anything, can't interact with other animals, nothin! I can only do care actions (eat, drink, etc) and can make my human sims interact with her, and her with them.

Sorry if this is a repeat post but I couldn't find anything lie it in the search function.

I did see a yahoo question about it and it said to restart or "clean up." I deleted all the memories for everyone, and restrted, but I'm still having the same issue. I don't know how to mod anything, so, that's a lost cause for me! Lol

Help please! I really want to enjoy my unicorn!

Hello nachoqtpie and welcome to the forum! Here's a few things you can do. Open up the cheat console in game. To do so, press ctrl+shift+c simultaneously and a box will come up. Type in "resetsim [name of unicorn]" but without the brackets and quotes and hit enter. Make sure you put a space between the unicorn's first and last name. If that still doesn't work, exit out of your game and clear your caches. If that doesn't work, try doing a Factory Reset.

So... none of that worked..... so I just aged her up twice and the Grimm Reaper came and got her. 

I figure that its better that way... maybe one will show up sooner and I can add it to my family quicker? *sigh* Let's hope!

So... now everything is glitching out.... I'm going to do anothr factory restore.... and start from scratch... *angry face* I had 6 generations of Sims before this. *sobbing*

Why don't you save your family to the bin first and add that one in a new town? It's a big loss to loose six generations of sims, but at least you will have your family back.
Know, however, that your family tree than only will include the members of the to the bin saved sims. Perhaps even a generation before that but I doubt it.
