Is there a setting to get the info box to auto hide.

I'm talking about the info box that pops up in the top left corner.
Before Showtime it would hide after you read any messages and closed them. But now it stays open for access to you wall and to post a message. I was wondering if there is a setting somewhere to make it hide after reading messages without having to close it manually.
I generally like to leave it hid so it opens if any info from the game pops up and I don't why but it just bugs me being there all the time if I don't close it.

That box is a bit funny.  It won't close on it's own if I want it to close, but it will close 4-5 times while I'm trying to use it.   :-\

I've experienced the same thing.  The other, somewhat annoying, thing I've noticed is that the box doesn't seem to automatically display messages anymore - you have to actually click on it to see the messages that have popped up.  If anyone knows of a way to change that, please let me know.  (Yes, I'm actually THAT lazy!   ;D )

That's the reason I usually close after looking at any pop up messages. If you don't close it they don't come to the top but the tab for them will blink. But it's easy to over look that and miss the message.
Sometimes I just log off so it acts like it use to and not worry about the online stuff.

I actually feel quite the opposite! I wish it would just flash when there is a new message and then I could click it open instead of it automatically opening every time there is a message. I frequently have to close/minimize it 3 or 4 times (with all the social updates) before I get back to clicking on my sims, haha.
