Like others have said, it's not possible. I've thought of the same question and tried to come up with an answer.
Best answer I can offer is to get some graph paper and sketch it out, and rebuild on a smaller lot. I've done this with a lot of my favorite houses I've built. I've also taken smaller house sketches and rebuilt them on bigger lots so I could add garden and/or play areas.
Sketching out houses on graph paper also helps if you find you want to "turn" your house to face a different direction. For example, the original house is facing the street, but you don't want your rebuilt house facing that direction, just turn it which ever direction and start rebuilding it.
