Female Sim has a male body in the shower? (CC related?)

I know the title is weird.  I've googled this problem and have yet to find anything remotely similar to my issue so forgive me if this has been asked and answered.

I have a female Sim.  But whenever I send her to University or on a World Adventure (basically anywhere besides her normal town), When she gets in the shower, she has a male body.  Same female head, but a man's body.  Even if I only use shower in a cans during my trip, once she's back home it continues to happen.  I've noticed from starting over several times, that if I never send her anywhere, this doesn't happen.  But if she goes on a trip or to University, then she has a male body in the shower.  It is actually driving me crazy.  Does anyone have any idea why this may be happening and how I can get it to stop?

Well, that's original LOL !
I suppose that you must have at least one custom skin installed ? Or if you currently don't, you did in the past. If yes, delete it and try another skin.
Or it might be a badly categorised custom outfit, possibly...
Anyway, I think that the most likely cause is bad CC.

Thank you.  I will look into that and delete any custom skins one by one to see which may be causing the issue.  Any idea, why it only happens when the Sim is not in her original town?

Because the sim is reset. Travelling resets several things, such as relationships for example. Or to be more exact, the sim behaves like in two different saves.
Once you delete a skin, if you've got MasterController, once the sim is naked, use Stylist and check. I've noticed that doing this resets skin cache and until you do it, the sim still shows the previous skin.
