I was robbed, and he stole my toilet, LOL

A thief steals my SIMS  toilet !   ;D
I built my house and my SIM was settled all nice in comfy in her not so comfy bed and I see a burglar slipping in.  I finally get her to wake up and he runs off.
It is morning and I send her off to eat then she goes out to get a part-time job (I figured as a writer she needed only a part time one until she starts to get her first checks in the mail), comes home, reads a book and then eats a meal.  I sent her to shower and glanced and then glanced again and realized that the burglar had taken the toilet !  I guess he really had to use the potty!

Haha that's funny I have heard of that before. My Sims got robbed and the burglar took a sun disk. I would have thought they would be going for something more valuable.

For the truly wronged, satisfaction can be found in one of two places,  absolute forgiveness or mortal vindication. This is not a story about forgiveness. When deception cuts this deep, someone has to pay.

Burglars steal the most bizarre things.  I usually buy a burglar alarm as soon as I can afford one, but sometimes I forget and they get me.

I had a burglar come into my Sim's house, walk past a relatively expensive car, and steal a ceiling light.  And it wasn't even an expensive one!  It was one of those flat, $95 lights.  Now, I know you're a professional and all, and I'm not one to tell someone how to do their job, but you really need to get your priorities straight.   ;D

Just last week a burglar robbed my Sim's house.  What did he steal?  A cheapo dresser that the dog had destroyed before I managed to get him trained.  Seriously, dude...all you had to do was ask and I would have given it to you.  I would have even helped you load it into your Big Lemon.

The exact same thing happened to me. "What would be more valauble the sports car or the ceiling light?"

At least my Kelpto Sims steals paintings and cars worth more than one days worth of food supplies. Geez.

This is definiely a fun game to play, my first sims and first real virtual game.  I don't count the silly virtual families that I played.  BORING   :(

Thanks for the laugh Jenna.  ;D
I liked how you described it. I can just see you doing a double take.

I sent her to shower and glanced and then glanced again and realized that the burglar had taken the toilet !

A burglar came twice when I first started my dynasty. Too bad for him I was too poor and didn't have a house yet. He couldn't take anything! ;D My Sim was practically living in the firehouse and there was nothing in the lot.  :)

I was most disappointed to find the alarm only works indoors. A burglar came by, and I was waiting for her to go inside so the alarm would go off, but it was like she knew it was there. She went around back and walked off with one of my *cars*. And she did, in fact, run off carrying it. Rather than driving it. o_O

I didn't know that could happen if you had an alarm. It's always stopped them for me. But maybe it's because I put the alarm on the outside of the house.

They should add car alarms. We had those in Sims 2. You had to pay like $50 and wait a couple of hours but then your car would be secure.

This happened to me when I was doing the moving challenge where you could only buy four items per house. (I completed it but was too late to post the results as I'm hopeless.) It happened on day 2 of the game and I'd bought all my four items already -- that's what you get for skimping on the burglar alarm. I was glad I'd gone for very easy lifetime wishes at that point!
