Decided to try EP out, already got an annoyance with it
« on: October 21, 2015, 07:36:16 PM »
Related to the following thread: http://www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/forum/index.php/topic,19924.0.html

In my case, it's the opposite situation. I decided for a Sim to adopt a cat, but now almost everyone is mentioning random new pets (so far, a horse then a cat) for possible adoption, which is driving me 'round the bend since I only wanted that ONE cat and it disallows me from switching to the household involved; what's odd about this is that the households in question only have one other pet of the same type as the one available for adoption and one disappears should the other be adopted. Any way I can disable this (yes, I have unchecked Pets and Horses in the Advanced Demographics tab)?

I'm not entirely sure this will help, as I haven't tried adopting a pet. I usually turn off pets in the game options. And at the moment don't have Pets installed.

However, when I searched on this problem Nraas Overwatch came up. So I gave it a read and it looks like it might help with those notices? I'm not for sure, but it might be worth looking into.

The other thing that might help is Nraas's Register. I use it to put strays at 0 when I have Pets installed. And Show Notices to false.

Register

Click on City Hall > Nraas > Register > Show Notices > False
Click on City Hall > Nraas > Register > Animal Control.
Select each one and set to 0
