I am going to build a home on a lot for a professional author I want to create. I was brainstorming how to design the house and wondered about the windows. In real life when you build a house with a scenic view you add nice windows to enjoy the view.
I am wondering if this would work, come in door and straight in front is a cheap window. To right is a cheap TV and across from it is a cheap chair. Behind the chair is an island, stove with counter on each side. Across from counter, beside the door is a small table and two chairs, all the cheapest. Behind the counter is a wall with a counter, sink, maybe another counter and fridge. Go past the fridge, it is a short hallway and on left is bathroom, very plain. Across is the study, has a computer desk with a nice computer; very nice chair/recliner and a bookself. On wall is some nice lighting. At the end of the hallway is the bedroom with twin bed and dresser. Making the room to be able to add more to it later.
I am figuring my author will spend most of her time at the computer, so I wanted to add a nice window to look out. But is that a waste of "money"?
It isn't going to be a straight line, the study will expand out to make it larger, with the front/living room have a small extension at the front. I was going to plant flowers at the front. There will be plenty of trees around so I don't think I need to and anymore.
Am thinking of having a door in place of a window so she can go out back and sit on a patio (will add those items later).
Any suggestions?
Would it be a waste to put in the nice windows, or will they help with the mood of the loner author?
Thanks for the help
