Can sims in the Criminal Career still not get robbed?

I read in the Prima Official Guide for the base game it says that a sim in the criminal career path won't get rob, but I'm wondering if that's still true as I've had sims in the criminal career, not recently mind you, that have been.  Does anyone know of anything?

The Prima guides are not always full of completely accurate statements.  The reason for this is they usually get an early beta of the game and things change between when someone played it in their office and the time that the game hits stores.   There are a lot of things that keep copying over from one guide to another instead of doing the research to see if it's changed as well. 

As to your question about the criminal career, I very very rarely get robbed so basically that's just luck for me. I doubt anyone is exempt though I heard that Lucky Sims are less likely to be robbed.

My "Master of Evil" sim was robbed; but, he beat up the robber!

I can absolutely confirm that this is not correct.  I have had two separate criminal career Sims get robbed.  One was a Master Thief, too.
