Frozen Games are Awful

Yeah, I had this happen to me just last night, except I'm an idiot and hadn't saved in hours.  Not exactly sure how much I lost since I haven't looked, been afraid to! lol  For me it happened when I was trying to move a family into a new house.  Somehow in the process it just got stuck on the "thinking" stage.    So sad.

When I lose a big chunk of playing time, it helps to leave that game for awhile.  Either play a different game file, or do chores around the house.  Then when I open the crashed game, the memory of what I was doing isn't as fresh and I don't mind replaying it so much.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I do too.  Gotta take some time off to "get over it". lol  Afterall, it's just a game.

That's why I keep a bunch of small families around my main one (which I've been currently taking a break from to write out that blog and do some expiriments with on other Sims). When my family gets dull or boring I tend to lose focus on what I want from them, so sometimes I take long breaks, sometimes shorter breaks, either way whenever I come back, the household always feels fresh and like a lot of fun!
