Cannot Complete First Adventure in China

hi i'm new in this forum, nice to meet you all..

i would like to ask a question and i hope you might help me on this one, my sim had an adventure in china to find the first relic in the tomb, the problem is i already got the relic and was stored in my inventory but i cannot return it the owner who wants it, there is no option to deliver the relic... how can i fix this one? i put a lot of time already with my sim in Egypt and completed many adventures already and this was my first adventure in china, i simply don't want to discard my sim and create a new one, i wanted to finish the adventures with it.

and if i may ask another one but it's not WA related, my sim is also experiencing disgust in my kitchen, whenever it went there disgust mood effect appears, actually every sim that goes into my kitchen have it.. i tried hiring a maid, replaced everything and even destroyed the entire kitchen area and rebuilt it but the disgust mood just doesn't seem to go away.. (happens only in the kitchen area, i also checked my backpack, the fridge, and trash compactor no spoiled food there too)

Have you been home and returned back to china again? That may help the option to come up.

The disgust moodlet comes from something being rotten and the likes, if you have searched for something and found nothing then that is odd, the only thing I can think of is soemthing in the fridge? Does a green cloud come out of it?

yes i went home already, even though my days are not yet over, i thought it might appear too if i return to china but the adventure is stuck. i cant return the relic.

there is no green cloud in my fridge, i even have a maid at the moment but she cant seem to clean it..

my installed game is the base game + WA + HEL ver 3.2.8.005001 maybe it might provide some additional information

I don't have an answer to this, just a question.  Have your sims had pizza recently?  When I was doing the Political Traiter Challenge recently, my sim ordered a pizza for one of the parties.  The pizza disappeared when the deliveryperson put it down.  A few hours later my sims had a disgusted moodlet and like you, I couldn't figure out where it was coming from.  When I left one of my sims alone for a bit she went and cleaned up the invisible pizza which had spoiled.  I'm glad she knew where it was, because I sure didn't.

i always order a pizza whenever my sim throws a party, but i dont monitor the party itself.. i fast-forward it just to get over with it. do you think it is pizza related?  if so, wouldn't hiring a maid solve the problem? they have a clean trait and always find the trash and throw it away. i surely dont want to move out of my house because of this.

Hi Vectormaniac and welcome to the Forum.

On your China adventure, are you saying that you've done the adventure and obtained the necessary relic, but that the option to deliver it doesn't appear?  You've left China and gone back?  Have you restarted the game?  My only other suggestion is to cancel that adventure and keep the relic in your Sim's inventory.  When you click on the Adventure Board, that same adventure may come up again and all it will need is for you to deliver the relic.  You can do other adventures in China until that first one comes back up.

Regarding the disgusting moodlet, we've encountered that problem more than once.  There's already a thread for it that may help you.  Please post any addition comments or questions on the existing thread because we need to keep this one about the China adventure rather than try to discuss two different things in one thread.

yes the deliver option doesn't appear. yes i left china and gone back but still the adventure tracker says find relic. yes i have restarted the game a few times but the same thing happens, but i noticed every time i  restart the game the sim who wants the relic changes.

i tried to cancel the current adventure and proceeded with a new one but i hit a wall again.. the adventure is in the dragon maw, i need to fully explore it, i am able to finish some challenges and gathered some ingredients to make a key or something that is needed to open a tomb, but when the time the key is made there's a message in the upperleft corner dialogue box saying that it is finished and i need to find the relic in the near tomb. but when i check the map i cant see any sign (icon that points where i should go) on the near tomb (btw im the hotspring at the moment), so i assumed that the tomb is in the dragon maw because there's a locked door over there that needs a key but when i got there i still cant open the locked door. what should i do?

i find it that the challenges in china is kind of harder

Maybe the person you had to deliver the relic to has passed away?

Then the Adventure would be cancelled and a message would say the target is no longer available or something like that.

is that possible, have you encountered that in one of your adventure, will it appear again in the adventure board with a different recipient?

i canceled my adventure in China and i continued my adventure in Egypt. maybe i'll continue it some other time, until then if it come up again i'll post it here

All Adventures will keep coming up until you actually complete the Adventure, so you can cancel it and come back to it.

The strange thing is that even a green cloud isn't always believable. I have one in the fridge in France since my last visit and there is no rotten food in there. Only some ambrosia and angle cake, or how you call that in English. The fact is that my food doesn't rot at all, I believe. I have the best fridge you can buy, btw. Maybe that explains a thing.
In fact I have the opposite problem of the post creater here.

But what you can do to solve your problem is to let the sims move out of their house, copy the house to your houses inventory when you are in the neighbourhood, destroy the original and place a copy back. I cannot ensure you this will help because sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn't. I've tried it once when my games crashed everytime I was building a basement, but that time it didn't help.
You could also consider moving your sims to another lot or building your own lot again. That last one is the thing I did to get around my basement problem so maybe this will help you to.

The problem is probably somehow in your save file, I believe. At least, you can say that when your Sims are the only one with the problem you've described.
