When can you give the traits from Pets to sims?

I've looked at the guide and they haven't been added yet.  So you happend to know when the traits can be given, please tell me.  I did have a sim grow up after pets and made her a dog person, but it was so long ago I don't remember when I made her that.

If I understand you correctly, you are asking at what age a sim can be assigned the traits from the Pets Expansion pack?
And I'm pretty sure you can add those traits when your sim ages up to teen status.

Toddlers don't have pet expansion pack trait options.
Children and older (Teens, Young Adults, Etc) can pick up traits like Animal Lover, Cat lover, Dog Lover, Equestrian

I'm glad you corrected me. I wasn't sure if children got the option or not yet!

no problem, I just stopped my game and popped into CAS and checked it out.  :D
