Testing on Growing Times of Steak and Burger Plants
« on: March 31, 2010, 05:46:08 AM »
I planted 5 burger plants and 5 steak plants
The first 4 I used Outstanding fertilizer on and the 5th I did not fertilize. Then I waited and these were the results I got

I planted them at THU around 13:00
FRI 5:00 the fertilized plants had grown 1 level   sprout - the unfertilized 0
SAT 5:00 "                                     "  1        growing - the unfertilized 1 Sprout
SUN 5:00 "                                     "  1        Mature  - the unfertilized 1 Sprout
MON 5:00 "                                    "  1 level Harvest - the unfertilized 1 Growing
THU 5:00                                                   Harvest - the unfertilized 1 Growing
WED 5:00                                                   Harvest - The unfertilized 1 Mature
THU 5:00                                                    Harvest - The unfertilized 1 Mature
FRI 5:00                                                    Harvest - The unfertilized 1 Harvest

So in the end it seems that the Burger and the Steak plant growing time is 8 Days unfertilized and 4 days fertilized.  At first I thought the burger and steak are needing the same time as the Cheese and egg plants so 7-4 but it was 8-4
so it seems right because the Egg and Cheese plants are an Uncommonly Good Opportunity
and the Burger and Steak a Outstandingly Rare Opportunity, which makes them a harder opportunity, so it took 1 day longer :P

So it's up to you, Carl. to put them in the gardening guide as 7-4 or 8-4

Yes finally  4 less ?? in the list :P lol

Well it's now time to get the exact days of the Omni plant
That is when i get the opportunity.

Well it also seems to make no diffrence in using Outstanding or perfect fertilizer. Anybody that can confirm that or is it a coincedence?

Being honest here but I can't really see the need for this to go in the main guide, it may be usefull for players on the forum who want more in depth or more information on the subject though.

samoht04, let's be a little more tactful, okay? RaShCl went through the effort of detailing more information for a Guide article. Whether or not Carl wants to add it is solely his decision. He does not need your opinion on the information's usefulness.

Wow. Thanks for reminding me, I'd forgotten about those blanks and should have used my time with the Perfectly Happy challenge to check up on those. I still have my save game so I'll grab the others soon.

Thank you all for the comments. Let me clear some things up.  :P

First, about the testing I have done and put into this forum.

I did not mean that Carl should put the whole thing in. I just pasted the whole thing as proof of my testing and that I didn't make it up, and Carl could put in either 7-4 or 8-4. :)

Second, about the grammar. I am terrible at spelling, etc. and since English is not my main language, you will probably find more of them.

So that should clear things up a bit, I hope.
