Problems with the Kenspa

I have two problems with the red Kenspa that my teen sim bought in France.

First of all, I've tried to place the Kenspa on a free parking space but it refuses to come out of my sim's inventory! He does use it to get around, but it just doesn't get out of his inventory and park anywhere once he's finished using it.

Secondly, random Kenspas have appeared in my other sims' inventories! These Kenspas aren't able to be clicked on, or dragged to the 'sell' box - they just lie there. Relatedly, when I took my two sims to Egypt one of them appeared with a working Kenspa in their inventory, as opposed to the usual non-clickable one. When they got back home, that Kenspa became unclickable again.

Thirdly, how do sims fit vehicles into their pockets? (Kidding.. )


I have seven sims in this household, only the teen sim that went to France and purchased the thing is actually able to use it, but like I said - I can't 'park' it. Four out of the remaining six sims have the random useless Kenspas.

I am completely patched up the latest patch.

What's wrong? Is there any way to fix either of these annoying bugs? They aren't game breakers, so it's alright if there isn't a way, but they are rather annoying. I so wanted to recolour the original Kenspa to blue, too, but I can't because it won't park.

Oh how did I not know that? Silly me! Thank you very much! Also, I do resetSim * literally every time I play, just to keep things flowing, so it must not have worked. I've heard about this happening with other items, too, so perhaps it's just one of those little things. But thanks for the bike rack thing, I honestly hadn't a clue.

Something similar has happened to me with vehicles - once a long time ago, once just yesterday. The game seems to have gotten confused about what sim actually had the vehicle in their inventory - one sim had the fully usable vehicle (or it was parked in the parking space), and the other had an item that could be selected but not interacted with in any way. Resetting the sims didn't help, clearing caches didn't help (this usually works with inventory-related bugs), quitting and restarting didn't help. Irritating but mostly harmless.

In the incident yesterday, they were traveling at the time, and when they got home from the trip both sims had usable copies of the vehicle, which made sense once I thought about it.

Hmm.. When my two sims were travelling to Egypt, it was like they had borrowed the teen sim's usable Kenspa for a while as they were there then gave it back to him when they got back and some unusable copy of it was left in their inventories. I guess it's just one of those silly little unfixable bugs. Thanks, Cathy.

I spent a good fifteen minutes trying to get my sim's Kenspa out of her inventory to re-colour it. Now reading this, I feel very dim . Still, I'm glad that I can now get it out of the inventory. Thank you!
