Glitch with Ghosthunter

I don't know if this already posted if it is sorry.  Today as my sim was doing a ghost invasion as I collected the ghost they weren't counting towards the goal of the job.  So I had to leave with only having done one job for the night.  I was not happy.    I just want to warn others that this might happen.  Also to see if anyone can give more advice on what to do.

This is happening with every single job that I do except for investigate paranormal activity.
If it helps, I'm a level 8 in this profession, and that is when it started happening. The only things that I can do are the investigations and playing chess towards my profession.

Actually, I've had it where I won't get all the spirits, but it say I have.  I haven't had the problem I mentioned earlier in awhile.
