I just love AI
« on: October 08, 2009, 01:14:54 PM »
Hi all...first time in Sims 3 for more than one baby.  Just had twin girls and parents are Jenna and Christopher Steel.  I avoided twins in Sims 2 because it entailed whipping parents into caring for tots and I really didn't want the hassle.  But to my shock, Christopher cared for BOTH tykes while mom was working.  I sat back and watched as he took each one to their respective high chairs, fed them, took them out, tickled them and put them to bed.  :o  I was simply blown away!

Makes me want to try LTR of fertility treatment and having a go at triplets.  ;D

I've never played the other Sims games, so the babies in Sims 3 are the only ones I know.  The parents really are good at taking care of them.  I haven't been able to have triplets, even with both parents having the fertility treatment, but I've managed to have four toddlers at the same time (two sets of twins close together) and we all managed just fine.  :)

Hey Pam...yup it was pretty bad in the sims 2.  :P  It was fine when the kiddies were babies, mom and dad were pretty attentive.  Then as the kiddies aged, they lost more and more interest.  The toddlers were pretty much on their own as neither parent wanted to take care of them.  They would play guitar, pinball, anything but take care of their kids.  I ended up taking their toys away til kids got to youth stage.  ::)  The sims 3 is definitely "kid friendly."  ;D

I remember kids in sims 1 also PJ.  I think I remember I killed Cassandra once cause she was driving me crazy.  ;D

Yeah I'm afraid TS2 scared me for the rest of my Sim days...I was such a bad parent in TS2 that my kids always got taken away by the Social worker!  :-[ :o  I managed to get them to children, but could never get them to do their homework...dun dun dun next thing I know my kids were taken!  >:(  Finally I learned about the cheats and managed to keep my children (lame I know).  :P

I think it is much easier in TS3 to care for the kids, but I still don't want to use that fertility treatment...that's just too many kids at once!  :-X

Even with using the fertility treatment on many of my Sims, I've never had triplets.  The 12th generation of my Legacy was just born, too.  Twin boys named Alpha and Beta Dreamweaver!

Yea. All they wanna do is play. Most of the time I tell them to do their homework, they keep complaining.
Which made me hate all those complains.

At least that's improved in the sims 3.
When my sims come home from school they immediately make their homework.
Sometimes that's not a good option, specially when something else needs to be done first
