Mare keeps foaling

I got the notice that my mare was giving birth. The name screen came up. I chose a name. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. I thought it would stop when she reached five, but it didn't. I saved and quit (it was my Townie decaDynasty file, so I didn't want to just quit). Any suggestions?

I had the same things happen to one of my sims once, I moved her out of the house for less than a day, let her give birth, then moved her and the unglitched baby back in, so maybe if you switched active household just before the scheduled foaling until right after it should be born, it would work.  I don't know though, cause as I said I used it for an identical Sim glitch, not a pet one   Good luck!

That's something I couldn't do because it was in a dynasty file. What worked though was sending all the people to bed, and putting one of them on fast forward. It was a last ditch effort before I tried moving her and her person out, but it worked. Apparently on high speed, there wasn't enough time to generate the naming box.

Interesting bug.  I've heard of the same thing happening with babies.  I guess it's a similar glitch.
