Holiday Homes
« on: March 21, 2010, 09:33:12 AM »
I just got Visa 3 in France. My sim had a lot of money thanks to familyfunds, I bought the Hugets Mansion, but she is alone. I bought a plot of land to build her a house but it won't let me build on there. I bought the homes whilst on holiday. Can you sell the homes because I don't want the castle now just the land but don't know how to sell it?

If I'm right, there should be a deed in the inventory of the sim who bought it. (Who actually made the phone call). But what's the reason you can't build there?

Sell or transfer your deed to the vacation house. The deed is in your inventory. You can only edit your house when you have it selected as the active house(one active at a time. you can own many houses, but use only one at a time in vacation) in the beginning of the vacation.

I found the Deed thanks! It was Agnes Crumplebottom on her own, Whenever I tried to build on the Empty Lot my Camera zoomed over to the Castle which I bough first. So maybe it is better to buy a Holiday Home at home then be able to choose when you go on holiday.

You don't have to stick with whatever home you choose at the beginning of the vacation. You can switch between them at any time by using the deeds in the inventory.
