I find this awkward, but you just reminded me of something Tyler. I was playing my family of Sims when I decided to check the good ol' family tree, to see if any babies came to Mei's (the mother's) sisters, because I really want her to be an aunt. Yet to my surprise there was another baby as her BROTHER! Now this wouldn't bother me if she weren't already the mother of 4 beautiful almost completely GROWN children (well two teenage girls, one child and a toddler), who now have a newborn uncle.
It's just strange I guess. Kind of reminds me of the movie "Father of the Bride 2" but with less humor. :)
Anyways they have an evil klepto uncle, can we say "Kids, it's time to move far away from your grandparents house which happen to be across the street, your uncle will probably come and rob us one day if we aren't careful!"
I only would have hoped that in the grandparents age they wouldn't need more biological children...

I still remember my best friend from grade school, his family was so scattered in age that he had several nieces and nephews that were older than he was.

One interesting thing about playing the same sim as an immortal is watching your grandchildren die of old age while you are still technically just a day out of teen age category.

Oh, that would be weird, (the Sim's grand kids dying before her.) I can't let my sims eat ambrosia if they have a family, it just doesn't seem right to me, I like watching the natural phases happen.

And this conversation is a perfect example as to how plainly unrealistic Sims games can become... ;D

I see dead people. ;D
