Is it possible to play in one of the worlds?

Is it possible to use one of the WA neighbourhoods as a regular playable world?  I mean to actually start out in one of those worlds?  A mod or something?

No, they are strictly vacation locations. You can build up a lot of days there and just keep going back as soon as the middle wears off. That would be the closest thing.

The 'nrass traveler' mod is about the closest you will get, I think.  You have to start out in a regular world, but then you travel to wherever you want to go, and "Change Hometown" to that location.  You can then stay there permanently.  Of course, you would need to edit the town to include the rabbitholes and other buildings you might need.  They're not set up for normal living.

If I remember right  Twallan's Traveler -mod makes it possible to live in the foreign worlds. I have not tried it myself, but check Nraas industries -site for more information.

I'm pretty sure some people have put those kinds of worlds up on the Exchange.
It's not a "vacation" world anymore, it will be your homeworld. I haven't checked but I'm sure they have something like those up on the Sims 3 Exchange that you can download and chose as world to live in.

I would love to live in the world but I haven't found the way to do so.

I have an idea of a military family with stubborn teenagers who hate moving or something.
