Missed Pangu's Axe

I just completed the adventure to obtain Pangu's Axe.  I used it one or two times in China and France.  Then I was doing the Dragon Cave adventure and met a boulder, but the axe was missing. So, I checked out the Tomb Building Guide, activated debug build menu, and found the axe just to place it on the wall in my house.  I've discovered that the axe is visible only in build mode, not in live mode, so I can't grab it. Anyone know how to make it visible or another way to re-obtain the axe?

The axe just disappeared from your inventory? What kind of options did you get when you tried to click the boulder?

Thx a lot. It seems to be so. The only option is to inspect and after doing so message about axe needed to have appears. Just like before obtaining it.
 Also i try to visit dungeon where i find the axe but it was useless too.

If you have any mods installed, they may be causing a conflict.  Otherwise, it sounds like it might just be a glitch in the game.

no, not any mods installed forever pure last updated version. i just hope there is any cheat or something to fix this. Seems there isn't. I'll just start new household and will pray this glitch doesn't occur again. Anyway thanks for help, Pam.

This same thing just happened to me, Pangu's axe had disappeared from my Sims inventory.

I found it in the family inventory, so it wasn't actually gone.

I had that happen to me too, was getting really upset, thought I would never get that ax.  So when I saw it was missing I almost freaked, dont know what made me look in family inventory and trying to figure out how it got there, but glad  I found it.

I too had the problem.  I could put it into my inventory that my sim carries; but couldn't use it (the smash option was there, but my sim didn't get the axe).  What SHOULD happen: You should just be able to select the action (click on the rock and select "smash" and your sim will throw her/his arms in the air; lightning will appear from between the hands and the axe will appear in your sims hands.) You can't actually select it from your inventory. 

For some reason when I re-"bought" another, it now works.  Try deleting the one out of your sims "backpack" and buydebug the axe again.  I've had to do this twice; I think it's just a glitch that comes with the cheatcode.
