Rebellious teens
« on: November 27, 2011, 03:59:26 PM »
I don't have Generations. (Only Ambitions, Late Nite, and Pets) Running a horse ranch and home for orphans in Bridgeport. Every so often my teen wakes up, and I get the message "Uh-oh! Look out for Dane, he's feeling rebellious today!" or something similar. Since I don't have Generations, he doesn't actually have the "Rebellious" trait. Are teens just randomly rebellious now? What do they do on these days?

Rebellious is a trait, but they shold get something like a "Mood Swing" moodlet, lasting 16 hours. I don't understand why you would get it without the game unless it was included on the patch, which is not very likely.

P.S.- The Horse Ranch/Orphanage Home is a very noble challenge!  ;D

Thanks for the tip. I read the Rebellious teens can pull pranks and stuff, but mine didn't do so autonomously. He did stay out after curfew though, galloping around downtown Bridgeport on his horse.

I think I'll have to get Generations soon, so my Horse Ranch/ Orphanage can be a little more authentic, with some really Rebellious teens.

Before I got generations my teen got the same thing. She didn't really do much though, just stayed out after curfew and ended up coming home in a police car.
If at first you don't succeed, call it version 1.0.

A teen doesn't need to have the rebellious trait to get these new moodlets and such.  Most teenagers wake up with that rebellious day sooner or later.  They will then get wishes to do things they wouldn't normally do.

I also got the message about "Uh-oh! Look out for Rachel, she's feeling rebellious today!" before Generations, but I don't think I got the moodlet. EA probably accidentally put it in the patch.

No moodlet for Rebellious itself, but he's getting wishes to skip school, and stay out after curfew. Teenagers used to do that anyway, though.
