Okay, apparantly, I didn't check this out a thoroughly as I needed to. Ralston is back at it again. His face retains the sallow look it had when I previously opened the game. As far as I remember, before this patch it had never happened before, but even without it, it still keeps messing up on me. Possibly, my graphics card needs to be replaced. Actually, that's the most feasible answer. Sorry to put you through this, I honestly thought it was a patch problem. My entire computer needs to be rebuilt anyway, so I guess I'll just have to go without Sims for a while.

Thanks for helping me, even though it was probably the same thing your going through, Esther, just on a much lower scale. Now I'm actually scared to see what my horses look like...

Pam- Thanks so much for trying to help. It made my day.

Sorry for the false alarm.  :-[ Thank you all so much for everything you have tried to do for me. Becuse my problem has been resolved as far as I can tell, I suppose I will lock this topic, if I can.

EDIT: My horses actually look fine, if you were wondering. Just a little boxy when you zoom out.

You're welcome.  At least you now know what the problem likely is and can focus on it.  Many folks are running into the graphics card issue with Pets.
