CAW without Sims 3?

I was just wondering, I play Sims 3 on my Mac laptop and I know Caw is not compatible with Mac. Is it possible to use CAW on a PC that does not have the Sims 3 installed on it?

CAW looks for a Sims 3 installation before even letting you install, so unfortunately, you can't. It doesn't even work on Steam versions of the game, since Steam installs to a weird directory.
