I had one teen party while the guardians where on their "free vacation" it was a snooping neighbor that called the police and my rebellious teen got scolded by the police and then grounded by his guardians that came back from the trip.
I can understand getting grounded for having a party without permission but it said "for trashing the house" when the only thing different was a pizza that was left out to long!
He is an former paperboy that they well I stole when I just added him to the family so he could have some schooling and build some skills. I wish I could make him appear as their child though.

Why don't you just save before you do it Athena?  It is a shame to miss out on the fun of the game because you are afraid of what might happen.  A glitch is a glitch and can happen to anyone anytime.  I always have at least four save games and I alternate between them.  If anything happens or if I make a bad decision, I can just go back to the last one and not lose too much game time.
I realize that I might sound a bit slow here but I still need to ask. How can you save before you do it? I mean when the pop-up box comes with the "free vacation" I can't find a way to click anything else before I either approved or denied the vacation. Have I missed something?

I had a teen party, I called up all the guest and they never left until..
The parents came home and it was hilarious seeing all the guests run out the house so fast.
