Gnome Invasion problem

 Well, Jude works as a firefighter in Twinbrook, and he just had to resolve an Angry Gnomes Invasion. Problem was that the 2 of the 4 gnomes are on the rooftop and Jude cant get there (there were no stairs). Has anyone had the same problem?

I've never had the same problem but there's 2 cheats that could help one is Testingcheatsenabled true then shift click on the ground of the gnome invasion house and select Build on this lot then add stairs or Testingcheatsenabled true then shift+click teleport me here.

The gnomes move from time to time as well.  They might move off the roof.

I don't think you can teleport to the roof of a house.  The best option is to wait until they move.

Would it be possible to use the cheat to 'building on this property' then use Move Objects On to move the gnomes off the roof?

I had problems doing ghost hunter jobs in Sunset Valley at houses like the Landgraabs where they have places to stand up on the roof.  However, I did notice that if you have your Sim try to do something to the ghost, once the game realized that it was unreachable, it would move earlier than before.  This may be true with the gnomes as well.

Might be a silly question, but doesn't it let you move them in buy mode?

Only if you cheat to go into buy mode on someone else's property.  However, if you're doing it in a challenge file, that's not possible.
