Red thing after a woohoo

Ok, I may be a total idiot, but sometimes if I am reading a dynasty the writer will show a picture of a red object on the nightstand with one half glowing after a woohoo. Can anyone tell me what this is, and how I can get one?

That's a woohooium bar.  Woohooium came with Ambitions as one of the new metals.  When it's smelted and the bar is placed next to the bed/shower/treehouse, it will glow when two sims woohoo/try for baby .

If you have ambitions you can buy the metal at the consignment store, but it can take several tries to get it.

If you have Pets and have a dog who knows how to hunt they can find woohooium, too.  That's how I got mine in my current dynasty.

Searching through trash cans (Law Enforcement/Private Investigator career), using the Miner (created with Inventing), can also give Woohooium.  However the two most efficient ways to get it are hunting with dogs and sculpting with a sculptor who doesn't have the "Savvy Sculptor" trait (you get it a lot when you break stone blocks while sculpting).

Hunting is definitely the most efficient of the two, though.

I believe you can also find it by breaking space rocks with the martial arts skill.

You get gems from breaking space rocks, not metals.
