Serious Graphics Issues

When I loaded my current game, all my sims and pets were really glitched up.



I lowered my graphics settings by a lot and restarted the game, but it didn't fix it.
What do I do?

This could be just another example of what's been going on with the Macs since the expansion came out.  I just hope they come up with a patch for us soon.

Simstar are you on a Mac if so what's your graphics card?

I am on a Mac. My graphics card is an Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB
Not really sure what that means.

Well...I have bad news for you. I'll PM you a link to a thread in the main forums. That's the graphics card with that issue with Pets. So far there isn't a fix at all for it. From my research everyone is hoping a patch will fix it soon.

I am reading all over and will post if I find or hear news of a fix. There's been major headaches with Lion and Sims 3.

Hey Simstar do you still have the graphics glitch? I may have seen a possible fix. It's a long shot though.

It's still there. What's the fix?

Not something you'd probably want to undertake. I've read some people have completely re-installed their Macs and would patch up to 10.7.1 and things ran just fine again. That's a complete computer re-install though.

My dad probably won't let em do that, but thanks for the suggestion.

I tried loading my game a few minutes ago, and now the game won't even start.

Oh yikes. I wish there was a fix EA would give. So far there is no official news. All I've seen is people trying uninstalling sims and reinstalling leaving out town life or pets. Hopefully one day soon there will be a patch that fixes it
