The Ark Builder Lifetime Wish
« on: December 30, 2011, 11:02:44 AM »
Ok so here's my situation: I have two sims with this lifetime wish in the same household and they are married. As I finally collected the second beetle (the final animal I had to collect) only the wife completed the wish. Is this because it matters who adopted each animal? I'm pretty lost. Thanks in advance for your help!

I believe it does depend on who adopted the animals, sorry.

That would make sense.. but the interesting thing is that both the husband and the wife adopted some of the animals. If it mattered who adopted wouldn't that mean neither of them would have completed the wish?

Did the wife collect the last animal required for adoption?

It may be one of those things where it goes by the last part required wins etc. If this is the case try getting the husband to catch the same animal that was last caught to try and get his LTW completed :D

Did the wife collect the beetle?  When she did, she had the animals in her possession, the major pets in her household and the minor pets presumably in cages and this beetle and the other bugs in her inventory.  Were any of them in his inventory?  If not, maybe moving the bugs to his inventory would also achieve the wish for him?  If some were in his inventory, that might not explain it, but I'm not sure what else might trigger the completion of one's wish and not the other.  The goal is to have the animals, not necessarily adopt them.
