New Handy Upgrade for pets
« on: October 28, 2011, 01:47:02 PM »
Does anyone know what the new upgradeable Item(s) are that came with pets? I had 100% of the upgrades before I downloaded the expansion and now I sit at 96%. I looked at the guide and there is no mention of any yet. I thought I would put this thread on this board so Carl could easily find it for the guide. If anyone thinks this thread should be moved let Pam know please.

I think it might be one of the new pet LTRs but I don't have the points for those yet.

I haven't seen it yet, myself, but Chaavik says that you can upgrade the horse's water trough to be auto-filling.

I tried to give Chaavik credit for this information by linking to the page where she said it, but the moderator sent me a stern PM telling me that this is not allowed.  Anyway, credit to Chaavik for that information.

You didn't have to remove the fact that the new item to be upgraded was the water trough. That wasn't a mod in itself and it was important to this thread.

You can upgrade the water (thing) trough for horses to "auto refill". That's all I've found so far, but my testing Sim doesn't have max handiness.

Edit: ninja'd ;-)

AbrahamC, the link removed was a link to a mod.  I clicked on the link and checked  ;)

I know the link was a mod site that's why I flagged it. But wasn't there a comment about the water trough that wasn't part of the actual link.

Edit: anyway it doesn't even matter as everything in this thread has been edited so much that this conversation isn't even relevant anymore.

It does mention the water trough in the second post, so I'm confused about what you think is missing.

@Pam

It was edited multiple times. It does now as it originally did but that part was removed along with the link on the first edit.

He's right.  My original post was edited so as to remove not only the link but also the information, which was NOT part of the link.  (And the link wasn't so that people could get the mod; it was a reference for information I was citing that I didn't know of my own knowledge.)  It seemed like the moderator went into a panic at the mere sight of a link to a mod and deleted everything in her haste. ::)

It's unlikely that this particular Moderator went into a panic.  She's one of our best.  And it's true that we have a zero tolerance policy regarding linking to any mod sites for any reason.  It appears that the original question has been answered, so I'm going to lock this thread.

Thanks guys, I also got an email about this. I added the info to the handiness guide, but I didn't bother figuring the level. I'd guess it'd be around 4 or 5.
